An interesting piece of clothing

Hello,

I first fell in love with the idea of a having a harness as an accessory many years ago, when I first had a glimpse of one on a magazine mid 90's.

The picture used above is from the 2002 McQueen collection and still one of my favourite of McQueen's collections to this day. I had been dreaming about one those for a long time and finally managed to get one a while ago. Ever since, a few girlfriends of mine and some of you, my lovely blog readers, have also been interested in this trend and have been asking me about it.

Para comemorar seus 45 anos a Zero Hora lançará no próximo dia 4 de maio o livro "45 Reportagens que Fizeram História". Os textos fazem parte da trajetória do jornal desde os anos 60 até hoje. Antes de cada história haverá a descrição dos bastidores da produção e também da repercussão do fato na época.

Pane no jornal Estadão

Bem que dizem que a tecnologia é ótima, mas quando funciona! Ontem (29), durante quase toda a tarde, a redação do jornal O Estado de S.Paulo ficou "fora do ar" devido a uma pane no programa de gerenciamento da produção de conteúdos. O sistema é indispensável para a produção de matérias e, desta forma, qualquer problema ocasiona atrasos no andamento da edição.

Segundo o Portal de Imprensa, o Estadão alegou que a pane foi apenas temporária. Mas outras fontes (não reveladas) afirmaram que o problema persistiu por várias horas e que o jornal poderia não circular caso o fato não fosse resolvido a tempo. Por volta das 17 horas o sistema teria voltado ao normal. A edição eletrônica do jornal não foi afetada. Que sufoco!

Diologo Olivier na Unisc

Na próxima terça-feira, 5/5, às 9h30min, na sala 101, haverá uma palestra com o jornalista esportivo de Zero Hora Diogo Olivier. A palestra é promovida pela RBS, com apoio do curso de Comunicação Social - Jornalismo, e faz parte de um evento simultâneo que irá ocorrer em todas as universidades gaúchas neste dia, em comemoração aos 45 anos do jornal. A palestra é aberta e tem previsão de encerramento às 11h.

Diogo Olivier Mello é jornalista formado pela Ufrgs em 1991. Atua como repórtes especial e colunista online de Zero Hora, além de integrar o programa de debates esportivos Sala de Domingo, da Rádio Gaúcha, e o Bate-Bola, na Tv Com. Foi jornalista político, mas nos últimos anos trabalha na editoira de Esportes. Enre os prêmios conquistados, estão o da Associação Riograndense de Imprensa (1999, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007) e Prêmio Esso-Regional Sul ( 2006, este com outros colegas). On Wearing Polka Dots

Polka dots - you probably either love 'em or hate 'em, but anyone can wear them. This perennial print has a tendency to look juvenile if not done right, though. Here are a few tips for wearing dots without looking too "dotty".

- Mix it up. This dress works because it uses two different sizes of dots. With this mix, the print avoids becoming overwhelming.
- Add solid color accessories. The solid black belt breaks up the dots and adds just the right touch. And guess where your eye is drawn? To your tiny waist.

- Smaller dots work better for dressier styles. The bow blouse at left would look silly in larger dots.
- Or break up polka dots with solids to tone it down. The green dotted dress would be far too much without the white vest worn over it.

- Wear dots in spring and summer. Somehow, polka dots just work better in warmer weather. They're bright and cheery and they send off a more casual vibe.
- Think color! Dots don't have to be white. Orange on purple works great for a casual summer shift. Pink on yellow makes a great swimsuit. Stick with two colors, though, to avoid looking clownish.

Pois é, vejam só, há algumas semanas atrás lembro muito bem que a nossa colega Ana Flávia, postou aqui uma matéria falando do avanço muito rápido e cada vez maior da tecnologia, e ontem ouvi uma notícia que celulares e relógios poderão pagar contas, e por curiosidade claro, busquei informações.

A principal característica de seu modo de ação é inibição seletiva de neuraminidases, glicoproteínas de liberação dos vírions.

Gripe suína ou gripe porcina é uma doença infectocontagiosa ocasionada por uma variante do vírus influenza H1N1. Apesar do nome não é transmitida pelos porcos, por isso, discute-se a mudança do nome para não ocasionar erros. Também denominada gripe mexicana, gripe norte-americana, influenza norte-americana ou nova gripe. A transmissão ocorre apenas entre humanos (homem-homem). Até o momento não foi registrado nenhum caso de contaminação por contato com animais mas somente pelo contato entre humanos. O consumo de carne de porco não acarreta doença, uma vez que o vírus é inativado pelo calor. Esta afecção está sendo considerada epidêmica no México, onde o governo já anunciou 7 mortes confirmadas causadas pelo H1N1 e 152 casos de morte suspeitos, levando a Organização Mundial da Saúde a declarar que a doença é uma "emergência na saúde pública internacional" com grandes chances de tornar-se uma pandemia Um surto de gripe suína (também chamada gripe mexicana) cujos primeiros casos ocorreram no México em meados do mês de março[3], vem se espalhando pelo mundo, tendo começado pela América do Norte, atingindo pouco tempo depois a Europa e a Oceania. O vírus foi identificado como Influenza A, subtipo H1N1, uma variante nova da gripe suína para a qual não existe uma vacina. Ele contém ADN típico de vírus aviários, suínos e humanos, incluindo elementos dos vírus suínos europeus e asiáticos. Os sintomas da doença são o aparecimento repentino de febre, tosse, dor de cabeça intensa, dores musculares e nas articulações, irritação nos olhos e fluxo nasal. A Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) declarou em 25 de Abril que a epidemia é um caso de "emergência na saúde pública internacional", significando que os países em todo o mundo deverão acentuar a vigilância em relação à propagação do vírus. No dia 27 de Abril a mesma organização elevou o nível de alerta pandémico para 4, o que significa que se verifica transmissão pessoa a pessoa, com risco de surtos localizados. Some things in life are just certainties. Like the terrorist will escape the "perimeter" set up on 24. Or Benjamin Linus is working an angle. Or Gordon Ramsay is gonna throw a risotto dish across the kitchen. Or Patty Hewes is five steps ahead of everyone else. And the Rockets will make it as hard on themselves and their fans as possible. The boys in red wouldn't have it any other way. They closed the Game 5 show with yet another forgettable 4th quarter complete with stalled offensive sets, over-dribbling, poor shot selection, questionable calls, and a bounce pass to Chuck Hayes (when will we learn?). I have never wanted a series as much for a group of guys as I want this series for this group. I want this for Shane who has yet to get out of the first round like just about everyone else on this team. I want this for Aaron Brooks who was handed the starting keys to the car smack dab in the middle of his second professional season. I want this for Von Wafer who finally found himself a role and a haircut on an NBA team. I want this for Chuck Hayes whose effort is so greatly underappreciated even by Rockets fans. I want this for Ron Artest who has been good on the court, but phenomenal off of it and in the community. I want this for Carl Landry so he can say he got shot, but still got out of the first round. I want this for Luis Scola because no one on this team deserves the bigger NBA audience that comes with round two games than he does. I want this for Kyle Lowry who rejuvenated his young career after languishing in Memphis. I want this for Deke. I want this for the rest of the guys on this team, even the lightning rod known as Tracy McGrady. More than anyone I want this for Yao. Nobody loves a giant, but what's not to love about Yao? He's a pro's pro and nobody works harder to get better than he does. Do they all want it? Hell yeah they do. Will they all go out and take it? We find out soon enough.

--I think you messed up if you gave up on Lost before this season.

--I finally got around to watching King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, that doc that follows the Donkey Kong high score journey. The film's story was manipulated to make Billy Mitchell look like a d-bag - mission accomplished and Steve Wiebe a sympathetic hero. If you've seen the movie then you know Billy's errand boy, Brian Kuh, had to be, just had to be who Steve's character was based on in Eastbound & Down. Wieb is gonna go for the Donkey Kong high score at E3 in June and it's gonna be broadcasted on G4. In the meantime he just set the Donkey Kong Jr. world record at 1,139,800. Donkey Kong was the #1 reason to get a Coleco back in the day. #2 was Time Pilot. Loved that game.

--Desmond/Henry Ian Cusick has been named in a sexual harassment suit?! All that time spent pushing that button and finally getting off that island and for what Des? For what?

--HBO is looking at the Bengals for Hard Knocks?!

--I'm almost done with Caprica and it's aight, but it's weird to see Trixie from Deadwood not cursing every other word and Atia from Rome with clothes on for like entire scenes.


--Heidi in Playboy? She hasn't left yet?

--Thank you for finally ending your season Heroes. Unless half of you move to Dillon I won't be back next season.


--Anderson Silva and Forrest Griffin?! F*** yeah!

--I watched Taken and if you've seen the trailer you've seen the movie. Did not care for a brunette Maggie Grace and I'm not buying her as a 17-year-old, nice try though...


--Canseco is gonna fight some 7'2'' kickboxer in Japan? Yeah, that's about right. It's part of a Dream card in May that has guys on it like Kid Yamamoto and Rameau Thierry Sokodjou.

--A Men's Health reality show?! WTF?!

--There are waaaay too many people in this world who love The Office and haven't seen one second of the original. This summer on Adult Swim though you'll get your chance to watch David Brent and company. Take advantage of it people. "High love on the highway, free love on the freeway."
