Casey Anthony to be Released From Jail July 17, Not July 13
Judge Belvin Perry ordered the one-year terms to run consecutively, and also imposed a $1,000 fine for each count. Perry originally estimated that Anthony could be freed by late July or early August, but her attorney Jose Baez said she would be released July 13, ABC News reported. He said as a result of Casey Anthony's lies, law enforcement spent "a great deal of time, energy and manpower looking for young Caylee Marie Anthony."
According to the LA Times, 25-years old Casey Anthony arrived in the courtroom appearing relaxed and happy, wearing her long hair, normally in a bun, down. Her smiles disappeared, though, as Perry handed down his sentence. Read more...
