False Eyelashes
1. Trim the lashes (i highly recommend Jemma Kidd's Lashes or if you want a more affordable brand Ardell has a great starter kit) so they fit your eyes perfectly. One of the worst mistakes people make while applying falsies is they don't customize the lashes for their eye shape. False eyelashes are not "one size fits all."
2 . 2. Trim the individual lashes to make them look more natural. They should be longer towards the outer corner of the eye then make sure there is barely any gap between your real eye lashes and the fake ones.
Then.....
3. Squeeze eyelash glue onto the back of your hand and let dry for a short time then run the eyelash along it. low on the eyelashes so the glue isn't runny.2 . 2. Trim the individual lashes to make them look more natural. They should be longer towards the outer corner of the eye then make sure there is barely any gap between your real eye lashes and the fake ones.
Then.....
4. Pick lashes up with your fingers or with tweezers if they make you more
comfortable, and apply lashes as close to the lash line as possible.
5.Press from end to end and hold until the glue dries (30 seconds to a
minute).
6. Apply a volume mascara (you already have enough length while
pressing your finger behind the fake lashes. This will join your natural
lashes and the falsies together.
7. Fill in any gaps between your natural lash line and the false eyelashes with eyeliner. I
recommend NYX super skinny eye marker
Did You Know?
Elizabeth Taylor was born with distichiasis -- a gene mutation that gave the beauty double rows of eyelashes.
In fact, On her first day of filming Lassie Comes Home, they took one look at her and said: "Get that girl off the set - she has too much eye make-up on, too much mascara. they rushed her off the set and started rubbing at her eyes with a moist cloth to take the mascara off. Guess what? They learned that she had no mascara on. She has a double set of eyelashes. Now, who has double eyelashes except a girl who was absolutely born to be on the big?
