Beyoncé: The last song and the whole album "4"
A music-writer's confession: In the industry, people tend to have entire CDs dropped on them, sometimes several in one day, to listen to quickly and try to make some sense of them all.
So it has been a pleasure savoring this one slowly. In dropping just a song per day off the new Beyoncé album, "4," it takes you back to the old days -- when you could only afford music a little at a time, be it 45s, vinyl, CDs or early digital downloads. Listening to each Beyoncé song this week made one wonder "Well, what's the next one going to sound like?"
Today, you get it all. MSN is dropping its last exclusive track, "Run the World (Girls)' which you can hear by clicking on the music below. But you can also enjoy the full album by checking out the full 13-song track-listing linked above. The album officially comes out June 28, but it's all here for you to enjoy, courtesy of Columbia Records, until you can buy it yourself.
For this special listening party, we’ve matched the album’s tracks with new portraits of Beyoncé created for the full-length’s package art, each designed for that specific song.
