The Queen of Fashion

Marie Antoinette, the last queen of France, fascinated her contemporaries with her temperment and free spirit. Milena Canonero created the most beautiful costumes for Sofia Coppola's film. The frocks are as cute as cupcakes! All the dresses, accessories, chocolate, pastries, hair, cakes, and cupcakes, are definitely eye-candy. I am currently taking an art history course about women in art, and I saw some portraits by Vigee Lebrun. She was Marie Antoinette's favorite artist and painted many famous portraits of her. So, I included many of her pieces in this post.
