Where to find a hot and willing friend?
I've heard a lot of talk of friends with benefits lately. As I'm in somewhat of a Carrie Bradshaw
mood today, I'll blog about my take on the matter:
The obvious benefits are the "benefits" with no strings attached. You get together, do the deed, and that's it. Nothing extends beyond that and no feelings are hurt...
But, can two friends really have intimate relations without any residual emotional attachments? Perhaps two strangers could, but then they're hardly "friends" with benefits. In that case, maybe the relationship should be renamed as "acquaintances with benefits".
Next, is it safe? How can you guarantee that you won't contract an STD, etc? The obvious solution is to remain in a monogamous beneficial relationship, but what's to say your benefactor won't "cheat" on you? If he/she were to, what could you do about it? Stop sleeping with them? Obviously they can get it somewhere else. Break-up with them? You were never going out in the first place ergo the beauty of friends with benefits.
In addition, what if the girl gets pregnant? First of all, let's hope that she didn't cheat on the guy, or else there'll be a problem finding the baby daddy :O Supposing that she was just "friends" with one guy, what's to make him stay around? Actually, if you're a teen and pregnant, you're pretty much screwed anyhow.
For some people, the pros far outweigh the cons, so they go ahead and fool around anyways. In that case, the only question that remains is:
