Remember

Yuon would never consider Khmer as a friend

1. When Nguyen Minh Triet visited Cambodia/ Welcoming him was a must
more so than a royal reception/ this clearly tells us that Yuon subordinates they are.

2. Look at Ban Ki-moon and Clinton/ their ranks were powerful/ When they visited Cambodia/ their welcoming was far less impressive.

3. They don't care/ even it was the UN chief/ But, for the Yuon, it was different treatment:/ front and back motorcades/ colorful banners adorned everywhere.

4. Banners in Vietnamese/ while our language, Khmer/ only came second after Vietnamese/ “Congratulation to the thousand years of friendship,” they proclaimed.

5. The Yuons would not even give a thought/ to consider "Khmer to be their friend"… That you MUST remember/ Waiting for the first opportunity to devour and swallow us/ this was what the Yuons did since memorial time.

6. Khmer people have learned from each other/ that the Yuons are our historical enemy/ Even though we, Khmers dare not say/ out loud, deep down inside we do know.
