1. Directly after posting "The age of sluts :O" I was checking out the "UGG boots giveaway day" event that I was invited to on facebook. After clicking on the link, I got this:

2. I told my friend about how I made up the word depeditated thinking that as cap refers to head, I could just replace it with ped. She subsequently found me a link to a legit definition of depeditated.  http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/depeditate

The age of sluts :O

Facebook applications always make me feel uncomfortable. You read about all the people who used them, and you'd like to try it out too, but then

Which Disney princess are you? is requesting permission to do the following:

There are two things wrong with this picture (maybe more):

1 Perhaps I'm just paranoid, but I hate the idea that the app is asking to "Access my basic information". NO! Why would "Which Disney princess are you?" need to access my basic information? By clicking allow, have I just opened the door to a violation of my privacy and potential legal hacking? I'm not tech savvy enough to understand what pandora's box I have just opened, but it's just discomforting clicking a button that allows a third party site to access my basic information

2 What if I don't want to "Post to my Wall"? Maybe I just don't want people knowing I took a quiz to find out which Disney princess I am, or what if the results are bad? I don't want to take an IQ test and have all of facebook knowing I'm dumber than a turtle.

It could just be me blowing things out of proportion, but facebook apps really give me the jeepers creepers.

Moving on, I went to a clothing store with my mom and brother today, and the conclusion I've drawn is that today's style isn't meant to be PG. Girls, when was the last time you found a pair of shorts that fit the thumb rule? More than that, did your mom approve? What about pants that are slung below your butt crack? That's not even attractive to pedos. The V necks of shirts have become I-can-see-your-cleavage-necks. Were dresses designed so that girls can't do anything but stand? Why do shoes have to be so uncomfortable? I was walking through the shoe section, and couldn't find a single heel less than at least 3 inches high. I'd rather be short than be depeditated. Even if nothing else is clear, know that we have officially entered...
