Think Pink in 1955

I was browsing through a magazine from 1955 this morning, and was struck by how much pink was shown as a style trend for that year. Here for your enjoyment - Think Pink!

This outfit works in three shades of pink with the added allure of pink accessories. The cashmere sweater is by Bernhard Altmann, the silk shirt by Bill Atkinson, and the wool skirt is by Sloat.
I love, love, love these pink backless T-strap shoes by Johansen. Shown sitting atop pale pink gloves.
A pink rose at the back of this Gustavo hat coordinates with the pink capeskin gloves by Claire McCardell for Rubin.

And of course, the ultimate pink accessory for any gal, this Sorrento Group sofa by Kroehler. YUM!
