Summer Skin Issue Solved!
As the clouds disappear and the sun comes out (where have you been the past 5 months?) new beauty issues are affecting woman everywhere. Why are my lips so dry? How do i soothe this sunburn? How can i give my skin a nice glow without spending hours in the sun. Well dolls we have been on the look out for answers to these questions (that don't drain your wallet)

Problem- Dry Lips
Solution- Since the air around you is dried out, your lips are being sucked of their natural moisture. Unlike your skin your lips don't produce hydrating oils so its your job to keep them moisturized. Drinking water and applying a good lip balm (I love Burts Bees and eos lip balm) and drink lots of water! ( 8-eight ounce glasses a day). Also don't EVER lick your lips. Its does not moisturize your lips it dries them out worse.
Problem- Sunburn Solution- After a long day in the sun and not reapplying SPF you probably look down and discover a bright red (not to mention painful) sunburn covering your body. If the sunburn is severe enough you might even have trouble sleeping. I recently discovered Vaseline Aloe Fresh Protecting body lotion with sunscreen after a long day of baking in the sun. The lotion not only restored the moisture the sun stripped my skin of, it had the soothing properties of aloe vera and SPF 15 to protect my sensitive skin from further damage. You can also take a cold shower to sooth a burn but you'll want to use a product with aloe to speed up the healing process.
Problem-Dull Skin
Solution- Try a brightening facial radiance pad. I highly recommend First Aid Beauty's Facial Radiance Pad. Cucumber and Indian gooseberry tone the skin, while lemon peel and licorice root leave the skin bright and glowing. It also has no harsh chemicals that strip your skin of its natural oils! Its totally worth the $28 and there's 60 pads to last you throughout the summer.
Hope this helps your summer skin needs! Happy Summer!
