“The Beach” (2000)
“The Beach” which was directed by Danny Boyle is a drama film based on “The Beach”, Alex Garland’s novel. Richard (acted by Leonardo DiCaprio) is a young American backpacking in Thailand with the intention of experiencing something different from his daily life. Along with two French friends, Richard travels to find out a peaceful blue beach with isolated sandy stretches.
“The Beach” includes landscapes of the natural beach of Ko Phi Phi Lee, Thailand.
